Cybox is een bedrijf in Boxmeer dat websites en ICT-oplossingen ontwikkelt voor bedrijven in diverse branches, met behulp van hun zelfontwikkelde CMS, Backstage. Cybox beschikt over gespecialiseerde teams voor vormgeving, marketing en technische maatwerkoplossingen voor klanten. De back-end van Backstage is grotendeels geschreven in puur PHP. De core van deze back-end is inmiddels verouderd, aangezien de ontwikkeling van Backstage meer dan twintig jaar geleden is gestart. Het ontwikkelteam heeft regelmatig te maken met de uitdagingen van een legacy codebase en het uitbreiden daarvan, maar doet hard zijn best om nieuwe (taal)standaarden en ontwerpprincipes toe te passen. Mijn doel bij Cybox is om een hardeningsonderzoek uit te voeren en een prototype te ontwikkelen dat aantoont hoe de modulariteit, veiligheid en kwaliteitsborging van de back-end van Backstage verbeterd kunnen worden. Het prototype en de overige bevindingen bieden verbeterde handvaten voor de toekomstige ontwikkeling van Backstage.

This project aims to design and implement a standardized, platform-agnostic observability framework for BAS World, a global commercial vehicle marketplace with a hybrid IT architecture spanning AWS, on-premise systems, and SaaS solutions.
Currently, BAS World lacks comprehensive visibility into application health across environments, resulting in delayed issue detection and inefficient troubleshooting. With scattered monitoring tools and inconsistent data collection practices, teams struggle to quickly identify and resolve incidents.
The project will deliver an observability framework that integrates with AWS CloudWatch for metric storage, following industry best practices with RED (Rate, Errors, Duration) metrics, USE method for infrastructure, and The Four Golden Signals for application health. The framework will be implemented as a proof-of-concept for one AWS-hosted service, with the goal of:

Establishing standardized metric collection across critical services
Creating unified dashboards accessible to all teams
Enabling proactive issue detection and faster resolution
Reducing tool sprawl and operational complexity
Improving cross-team collaboration through shared visibility

Success metrics include improvements in Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Mean Time to Acknowledge (MTTA), and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR). The framework will support 30-day historical data retention while maintaining minimal instrumentation overhead.
By implementing this solution, BAS World will significantly enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and troubleshooting effectiveness across its diverse IT ecosystem, ensuring that development, infrastructure, and support teams can rely on consistent, high-quality observability data.

Software Smart monitoring

Tijdens mijn afstudeerstage bij BDO heb ik gewerkt aan het ontwikkelen van een smart monitoring solution voor het applicatielandschap.

Mijn onderzoek richtte zich op het in kaart brengen van de benodigde data om de root-cause van een fout te lokaliseren en het ontwikkelen van een visuele oplossing om deze informatie overzichtelijk en bruikbaar te maken. Daarnaast heb ik onderzocht hoe deze inzichten proactief benut kunnen worden.

Dit resulteerde in meerdere proof of concepts waarin een smart monitoringtool werd ontwikkeld en geëvalueerd. Deze tools bieden waardevol inzicht in de oorsprong van fouten en ondersteunen bij het sneller lokaliseren en oplossen hiervan. Het project is bedoeld om bestaande monitoringstools binnen de organisatie te ondersteunen en aan te vullen, niet om deze te vervangen.

Software Transparantie in lokale medicijnvoorraden

Tijdens mijn afstudeerstage bij PharmaPartners heb ik gewerkt aan een actueel vraagstuk binnen hun apotheekinformatiesysteem (AIS) product Pharmacom. Apothekers kunnen momenteel de actuele lokale voorraad van medicijnen inzien, maar hebben geen toegang tot volledige historische voorraadmutaties. Dit gebrek aan inzicht belemmert efficiënt voorraadbeheer en maakt het moeilijk om bijvoorbeeld audits uit te voeren. Er is een duidelijke behoefte aan een systeem dat apothekers in staat stelt om ook te kunnen zien hoe de huidige voorraad volledig tot stand is gekomen. Tijdens de stage is een nieuwe Service Universe (SU) binnen Pharmacom ontwikkeld. Deze SU geeft apothekers inzicht in de historische voorraad van medicijnen en vernieuwt bestaande functionaliteit rondom lokaal voorraadbeheer.

Een Service Universe is een interne term voor een soort bredere microservice. De realisatie ervan in deze opdracht omvatte de ontwikkeling van een SA (Angular Webapplicatie & REST API), een interne provider (SP) om de benodigde COBOL-data op te halen van de dataserver, en een SD (Protocol Buffer bestanden die de (AMQP over Protobuffer) communicatie tussen de SA en SP definiëren). De ontwikkelde SU is geïntegreerd in de eHealthClient (desktopapplicatie) zodat deze alleen vanaf Pharmacom benaderbaar is.

Voor mijn afstudeerproject binnen het lectoraat Interaction Design (IxD) heb ik onder begeleiding van docent-onderzoekers Mijke van der Zee en Pieter Dorst gewerkt aan een evolutionair prototype van een virtual human in Unreal Engine. Dit prototype is ontwikkeld voor gebruik in de Holobox en richt zich specifiek op kinderen tussen de 8 en 12 jaar oud.
Mijn project is onderdeel van een bredere onderzoeksopzet van Mijke en Pieter binnen het lectoraat, waarin wordt onderzocht hoe virtual humans in de Holobox ingezet kunnen worden om kinderen te ondersteunen en in hun kracht te zetten om te leren.
Mijn rol in het project lag bij het ontwerpen, testen en itereren van de avatar en non-verbale communicatie. De focus lag op het onderzoeken hoe uiterlijk, houding, expressie en beweging kunnen bijdragen aan een aansprekende en toegankelijke ervaring voor de doelgroep. Hierbij stond centraal hoe non-verbale communicatie kan helpen om een gevoel van connectie en betrokkenheid op te wekken bij kinderen.

Voor Futureslab ontwikkel ik een applicatie die Yonder-docenten op een speelse en interactieve manier kennis laat maken met de mogelijkheden van Virtual Reality (VR). Het doel is om hen te inspireren en motiveren deze technologieën toe te passen binnen hun eigen onderwijspraktijk.

De applicatie maakt gebruik van gamification om gebruikers op een laagdrempelige en aantrekkelijke manier te begeleiden door verschillende scenario’s en toepassingen van VR/AR/XR in het onderwijs. Door opdrachten, challenges en visuele feedback worden docenten gestimuleerd om zelf na te denken over de inzet van deze technologie in hun lessen.

Ik ben verantwoordelijk voor de back-end (faciliteren van punten, badges, leaderboards en onderhouden van games), de front-end (Unity webGL) en VR-games om een interactieve ervaring te bieden die direct via de browser toegankelijk is, zonder installatie van extra software.

De applicatie is ontworpen met het oog op schaalbaarheid en flexibiliteit, zodat het eenvoudig kan worden aangepast en uitgebreid.

Mijn afstudeerproject richt zich op het verbeteren en standaardiseren van het beheer van Microsoft 365-omgevingen voor Ampati Global IT Services. Momenteel worden Microsoft 365-tenants handmatig ingericht, wat vaak zorgt voor inconsistenties, fouten en beveiligingsrisico’s. Om dit op te lossen heb ik drie gestandaardiseerde templates ontwikkeld: Basic, Advanced en Enterprise. Elke template sluit aan bij de specifieke beveiligingsbehoeften van klanten, met beveiligingsmaatregelen zoals MFA (Multi-Factor Authenticatie), Conditional Access en Zero Trust-beveiliging.

Tijdens mijn onderzoek heb ik gekeken naar welke tools het beste passen bij de bestaande infrastructuur van Ampati, zoals CoreView en KaseyaOne. Uit deze analyse bleek dat CoreView het meest geschikt is vanwege de uitgebreide mogelijkheden voor automatisering en compliance-monitoring. Met CoreView kunnen we nu eenvoudig nieuwe tenants automatisch inrichten en afwijkingen in configuraties direct detecteren.

Daarnaast heb ik onderzocht hoe deze templates getest, gevalideerd en onderhouden kunnen worden, zodat ze blijven voldoen aan beveiligingsnormen.

During my graduation internship at Swisscom, I explored the capabilities of an innovative open-source solution designed to enhance connectivity across multi-cloud environments. The project focused on Network Service Mesh (NSM), a technology that enables dynamic, secure service-to-service communication beyond traditional network boundaries.

As part of the process, I prototyped cross-domain NSM connectivity in a local environment to validate its core functionalities. I then extended the setup to cloud platforms - AWS and Azure - to evaluate NSM’s potential in real-world hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios. The experiments demonstrated how NSM can seamlessly bridge services between isolated domains, offering a programmable approach to network orchestration.

This work provides a foundation for future adoption of NSM in enterprise cloud strategies, particularly for organizations seeking consistent, policy-driven connectivity across diverse infrastructure.

This graduation project explores the design and boundaries of a virtual planning coach that can hold personal conversations with students and refer them to a human coach when necessary. The focus is on developing an empathetic AI that acts as a first point of contact for students, with the ability to recognize when a situation becomes too complex and should be escalated to a real-life professional.

The initial plan included developing a full virtual human interface. However, based on input from stakeholders, the priority shifted toward building the AI's conversational and psychological capabilities first. As a result, the virtual coach’s role is narrowed to exploring personal conversations rather than scheduling or planning support. The main research question centers around: “To what extent can an AI-driven virtual coach talk about personal matters, and when should it refer to a human coach?”

The project is part of a broader research initiative at Futures Lab on the implementation of virtual humans in education. This domain is especially relevant given the increasing shortage of student coaches. Planning is often intertwined with deeper psychological factors such as motivation, mental health, and personal struggles. In practice, coaches like Fontys Student+ and STAP serve not only as academic advisors, but also as confidants. This project aims to investigate whether and how a virtual counterpart could responsibly take on a similar role.

Tijdens mijn afstudeerstage bij Veiligheidsregio Limburg-Noord (VRLN) heb ik gewerkt aan het optimaliseren van het Werving-, Selectie- en Instroomproces. Dit proces is complex, omdat meerdere teams zoals Personeel & Organisatie, ICT, Financiën en Gebouwenbeheer hierbij betrokken zijn. Door gebrek aan overzicht was niet duidelijk waar het proces vertraging opliep en wie verantwoordelijk was voor welke stap.

Mijn opdracht bestond uit het visueel inzichtelijk maken van het Instroomproces. Door dit inzicht wordt het mogelijk om de doorlooptijd te verkorten, duidelijkheid te creëren over de taken van alle betrokkenen in het proces en de samenwerking tussen verschillende afdelingen en teams te verbeteren. Hiervoor heb ik data uit twee systemen, Youforce en TOPdesk, opgehaald, samengebracht en gevisualiseerd in Power BI. Het resultaat is een dashboard waarmee gevolgd kan worden waar in het proces een nieuwe medewerker zich bevindt.

Met behulp van dit dashboard kunnen verantwoordelijken sneller signaleren waar problemen ontstaan. Zo kan bijvoorbeeld tijdig worden gecontroleerd of een medewerker op de eerste werkdag beschikt over een laptop en toegang tot de juiste systemen. Daarnaast helpt het dashboard bij het toewijzen van verantwoordelijkheden per stap in het proces, waardoor samenwerking tussen de verschillende afdelingen wordt versterkt.

Software Parkeergarage app

Tijdens mijn afstudeerstage bij Betabit heb ik een oplossing ontwikkeld voor een praktisch probleem binnen het bedrijf: het ontbreken van real-time inzicht in de beschikbaarheid van parkeerplekken. Het bestaande parkeersysteem gaf pas informatie zodra een medewerker voor de poort stond, wat vaak leidde tot frustratie, met name tijdens piekmomenten.

De opdracht was om een mobiele app te ontwikkelen waarmee medewerkers altijd en overal realtime kunnen zien hoeveel parkeerplekken beschikbaar zijn. Hiervoor moest data worden opgehaald uit een verouderd IP Parking-systeem, dat geen officiële API aanbiedt. Dit vereiste het bouwen van een betrouwbare scraper die vrijwel live data levert.

Om de parkeerinformatie visueel en duidelijk te presenteren, is een gebruiksvriendelijke interface ontwikkeld.
Medewerkers loggen veilig in via het bestaande Betabit SSO-systeem.

Het eindproduct is volledig gedeployed in een Azure-omgeving en is geschikt voor daadwerkelijk gebruik binnen het kantoor. Dit betekent dat de app op de Play Store en App Store gaat staan. De grootste technische uitdagingen waren het realiseren van betrouwbare dataverzameling en het robuust deployen van de oplossing. Ook wordt de app beschikbaar op Android Auto en Apple CarPlay.

During my graduation internship at AT‑Automation, a company specialising in Industrial Automation, I developed and validated a next-generation Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) system to monitor and manage yeast stocks in bakery environments. Throughout the project, I maintained close communication with our customer, AB Mauri, who is a prominent supplier of bakersyeast. The existing IIoT edge modules suffered from SSD wear‑out, causing frequent downtime and costly on‑site repairs. I evaluated industrial-grade hardware alternatives, designed a parallel-migration strategy using IXON Cloud alongside the existing MC Tech modules, and configured MQTT data transfer for robust, real-time streaming into an Ignition SCADA platform.

AB Mauri now has a robust, low-maintenance IIoT solution that minimises SSD failures, simplifies remote updates, ensures uninterrupted visibility of their yeast inventory and boosts their supply chain reliability. For AT‑Automation, this project reduces operational costs and establishes a scalable foundation for rolling out the solution across multiple sites.

Tijdens mijn afstudeerstage bij GroupM heb ik gewerkt aan het bouwen van een dashboard dat data uit Google Analytics (GA4) gebruikt, welke automatisch in BigQuery wordt opgeslagen. Het Digital Analytics team, één van de stakeholder, ervaart problemen met de grote hoeveelheid data en de complexe instellingen in GA4. Bovendien missen ze een overzicht van de volledige customer journey. Het doel van dit dashboard is om de complete customer journey op een simpele en gebruiksvriendelijke manier in kaart te brengen. Het dashboard moet in één oogopslag laten zien wat gebruikers doen op de website of app, zonder dat de informatie complex is. Het team wil snel en gemakkelijk inzicht in het klantgedrag.

Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a wide range of products and services to its customers, including the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) line. When purchasing a TEM, customers receive support from Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and technical support teams. Over 3,000 FSEs world wide perform more than 500 software updates each year. After a software update, the FSE will run a series of tests to make sure that the microscope is functioning properly. These tests are currently manual and not standardized.

This project aims to identify which tests experts believe should be performed after a service action and to automate these tests using Autoscript TEM, a Python API for controlling TEMs. Automating these tests will save time and improve the standardization of post-service testing.

Software Intermediate layer between .NET and Database

For my graduation internship at Vanderlande, I performed research on how to decouple the application layer from a specific database vendor in a legacy codebase to help increase maintainability and extendibility.

As part of my research, I helped and guided the team in deciding and discovering what kind of solution they desired, with the creation of a minimum viable product (MVP) as end goal. The MVP utilizes Entity Framework and includes features such as query result validation and logging of executed queries. This minimum viable product is validated by replacing the database interaction of an existing test scenario with Entity Framework expressions.

The result is a foundation that serves as a starting point on how the team can further integrate technologies like Entity Framework in both existing tests and future tests, and perhaps within other teams at Vanderlande as well.

The internship project involved transforming Topical, a web application developed by Duodeka, into a fully functional mobile app. The goal was to make Topical more accessible and user-friendly on mobile devices, while keeping all the features and functionality of the web version.

A key aspect of the project was to optimize the app for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices. This included deploying the apps to their respective app stores. It was crucial to optimize both the software and the design to ensure responsiveness across mobile devices of different sizes. Native mobile features, such as the microphone and push notifications, were also integrated to enhance the app's functionality.

Additionally, the onboarding process of the software was updated and improved to make it more user-friendly, enhancing overall user interaction with the app. This project aimed to make Topical more convenient for users on the go, while improving engagement and accessibility.

Kinderen met dyslexie ervaren op de basis- en middelbare school vaak moeite om hun werk efficiënt te maken. Ze lopen bijvoorbeeld tegen problemen aan bij het op tijd afronden van een toets of het goed begrijpen van de vragen. Dit komt door de lees- en spellingproblemen die dyslexie met zich meebrengt. Wanneer leerlingen worden afgerekend op fouten of tijdsgebrek die voortkomen uit leesproblemen, geeft dat geen eerlijk beeld van hun daadwerkelijke kennis.

Daarom is er afgelopen semester een project gestart om deze leerlingen te ondersteunen: een voorleesplatform. Leerlingen en docenten kunnen hiermee documenten uploaden, zoals toetsen of lesmateriaal. Dankzij een efficiënte bediening kan een leerling de tekst sneller en beter begrijpen.

To prepare for such events, professionals run “crisis exercises” to practice what to do when the unexpected happens. However, planning these exercises is often complex, time-consuming, and mostly done by experts using outdated tools like Excel and email.

My graduation project focuses on making this process easier and more accessible. I am developing a digital planning tool designed for people who are not crisis experts but still need to organize emergency drills—such as school staff, local government workers, or volunteers.

The tool guides users step-by-step through creating a realistic and effective exercise plan. It helps define clear goals, schedule events (called “injects”), and manage resources like role players or materials. By using structured templates and possibly AI-generated content (like fake news or simulated messages), the tool makes it easier to create engaging, lifelike scenarios.

Mobeye specialize in innovative cellular alarm and security products. The company develops embedded devices with functionalities such as measuring, logging, remote control, and alarm reporting. Each product is equipped with a range of sensors and outputs, offering various options for sending alarms and logs. Mobeye’s devices combine mobile communication technologies (GSM/2G, 4G LTE-M) with low power consumption, allowing them to operate on batteries without requiring Wi-Fi or power sockets. This makes them highly versatile, capable of functioning anytime, anywhere.

Ensuring the reliability and correctness of these devices under all conditions is critical. Previously, testing was done manually engineers simulated real user actions, adjusted sensor inputs, and monitored device responses. While thorough, this method was time-consuming and susceptible to human error.To support test engineers, Mobeye developed a tool to automate testing through script execution and sensor simulation. This system reduced effort and provided detailed reports for evaluating device behavior.

During my graduation internship, I was tasked with improving this tool to make it more flexible, scalable, and have an easy to use interface. Key enhancements include support for reusable test script modules, conditional logic in test flows, and an improved web interface for managing tests and analyzing results. The test engine was also extended to support parallel execution, allowing multiple tests to run simultaneously, each using its own instance of the I/O simulator. Additionally, the reporting system was upgraded to provide clearer, more actionable feedback.

These improvements streamline the testing process, reduce manual workload, and enhance overall reliability, helping Mobeye test more efficiently.

Software Stolpersteine - The conclusion

Deze stage bouwt voort op de Stolpersteine-app die in semester 6 is ontwikkeld in nauwe samenwerking met Stichting 18 September. Na de succesvolle lancering van de eerste versie van de applicatie zijn er nieuwe, ambitieuze wensen ontstaan. De opdracht is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met stakeholder Frank van Dijk, die ook deelnam aan semester 6.

De Stolpersteine (Vertaald: Struikelstenen) app heeft als doel de gedenkstenen in de straten te digitaliseren. Deze stenen vertegenwoordigen de laatste, vrijwillige, verblijfplaats van slachtoffers van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De Stolpersteine-app zorgt ervoor dat hun nalatenschap blijft voortleven en dat hun verhalen worden verteld.

Deze digitaliseringsstap zal jongeren helpen de impact van de gebeurtenissen in de Tweede Wereldoorlog te begrijpen en hopelijk een waardevolle les achter te laten. Deze applicatie is ook bedoeld voor de directe nabestaanden van de slachtoffers, om hen te helpen hun verhaal te delen en zo de broodnodige afsluiting te bieden.

Deze stage heeft als primair doel het platform voor internationale adoptie voor te bereiden en zo een Single Point of Failure te vermijden (Frank van Dijk). En zijn er ook diverse werkzaamheden verricht om de gebruikerservaring, snelheid, vindbaarheid en onderhoudbaarheid van de applicatie(s) te vergroten.

Bij WebSentiment, een organisatie die maatwerkapplicaties en websites onderhoudt voor diverse klanten, is het cruciaal om foutmeldingen (logs) snel en effectief op te sporen. Momenteel gebeurt dit reactief en inefficiënt: logs zijn verspreid, ongestructureerd en worden vaak pas bekeken nadat een klant een probleem meldt.

Mijn opdracht is het ontwikkelen van een centrale, schaalbare logmonitoring-oplossing die automatisch prioriteit toekent aan incidenten op basis van fouttype, getroffen functionaliteit en klantwaarde. Wanneer deze klantwaarde wordt gewijzigd, dan moet het systeem de bestaande logs automatisch herprioriteren. Logs worden visueel weergegeven in een dashboard met filters en duidelijke statussen, zodat ontwikkelaars snel kunnen handelen.

Bij kritieke incidenten worden automatisch alerts gegenereerd. Deze alerts worden vervolgens als taak in Asana(taakmanagement systeem) gezet. De status van de specifieke incident wordt automatisch bijgewerkt – bijvoorbeeld naar “Done” zodra het incident is opgelost – zodat de visualisatie actueel blijft.

This project improves and expands the integration between Winston POS and VIPS PMS so restaurant staff and hotel teams can work from one smooth system. I listened to product owners and other stakeholders, then turned their stories into a clear set of must haves. Some solutions are better room lookup by guest name or reservation number, an on screen card that shows allergies and stay dates, a signature when customers charge to the room, and transparent handling of tips and discounts by allowing multiple payment methods. Prototypes live tested in US restaurants showed how the solutions helped improve user experiences and had an instant impact. This project also improved all other hotel integrations by making use of already existing features and connections and expanding their use. With frequent stakeholder feedback and proper new documentation the collaboration is moving toward a friendlier, future proof service.

This was done by creating the Modular Intelligence Normalization Tool (MINT) which fetches Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) from various sources in various formats, extracts the IOCs and any relevant metadata, converts them into the standardized STIX format and finally adds them to a custom built TAXII server in which the STIX objects are stored and made available to the SOC platform via the TAXII protocol. Allowing for custom CTI data to be ingested automatically into the SOC platform.

Voor mijn afstudeerstage bij Sopra Steria heb ik onderzoek gedaan naar het toepassen van kunstmatige intelligentie in de vorm van zogeheten Large Language Models (LLM) bij het uitvoeren van migratieopdrachten. Hierbij heb ik mijzelf beperkt tot het migreren van ASP .NET MVC-projecten naar Angular projecten. Op basis van mijn onderzoeksresultaten omtrent de mogelijkheden, beperkingen, en best practices met het gebruik van kunstmatige intelligentie heb ik een applicatie ontwikkeld. Deze applicatie is instaat om gehelen projecten aangeleverd te krijgen, en deze vervolgens automatisch te migreren. De applicatie dient als proof of concept voor Sopra Steria voor toekomstige inzet bij daadwerkelijke migratieprojecten.

During my internship at Affix Engineering, I took part in NXTGEN project "Bin Picking" where I created a unified bin-picking software solution that allows users to integrate different industrial cameras and vision models into one system.

It supports multiple industrial camera brands, allowing real-time environment control and adjustment for industrial automation. The vision system includes a computer vision model that is meant for segmenting objects in bins or on conveyor belts for optimizing robot pick points, determine holes and top object in a stack, as well as providing users a possibility to test custom or pre-built models on live feeds or stored images, speeding up deployment.

By combining camera controls and model testing in a single interface, the software simplifies automation workflows. It works across different vision sensors, reducing compatibility issues and making vision systems more efficient for eye-hand actions, manufacturing and logistics. This solution is able to fulfill the need of companies to test and deploy bin-picking or conveyor belt automation faster.

Gedurende mijn afstudeerstage heb ik bij het bedrijf Apollo Journey gewerkt, dat zich richt op het creëren van VR-oplossingen voor hulpdiensten. Mijn project is een VR training voor het gebruik van onderwaterdrone. Dit idee kwam ontstond omdat het water op sommige plekken erg troebel is, waardoor het voor duikers moeilijk is om zoek of reddingsoperaties uit te voeren. Een onderwaterdrone is daarom een beter optie, omdat die gebruikmaakt van een sonarsysteem waarmee je objecten onder water kunt detecteren. Maar er zijn een aantal nadelen aan het oefenen met een onderwaterdrone in de praktijk:
• Het kost veel geld.
• Het kost tijd om de apparatuur voor te bereiden en op te zetten op de testlocatie.
Met VR training kun je deze nadelen vermijden. Deze VR-training oplossing bestaat uit twee delen:
• Een besturingssysteem om te leren hoe je de drone bestuurt,
• Een sonarsysteem om te leren hoe je sonarbeelden kunt interpreteren.
Aangezien dit een grote scope project is, is mijn hoofdtaak het ontwikkelen van een realistisch sonarsysteem in Unity, waarmee gebruikers in VR kunnen leren hoe je een sonarbeeld uitleest.

During my graduation internship at Philips, I was tasked with improving the class tests within the software component of the "Flat Detector Control and System Interface Board" used in the Azurion system. I manually converted and refactored class tests to
replace a proprietary test framework and link-time stubs with industry-standard Google Test and Google Mock libraries. This conversion aimed to minimize code duplication, improve dependency management, and enhance code maintainability. As a result, outdated code was removed, and the overall readability and quality were optimized. Additionally, I researched methods to automate this conversion to accelerate the transition due to the large size of the codebase. My project will serve as valuable insight for the continuation of the conversion, ensuring that all class tests are eventually transformed.
